Clear Creek Reservoir

Clear Creek Reservoir is located near Granite, CO, and holds rainbow, brown and cutthroat trout. In addition to this, there is a small population of kokanee salmon. Additionally, this reservoir is known for its large predatory tiger musky. These hybridized fish were introduced in an attempt to keep sucker populations in check, and cannot naturally reproduce. Fish pushing 50 inches have been seen here with muskie in the 35+ inch range being common.

Current Conditions

Clear Creek is fully ice-free and open for the 2022 season. This includes the boat ramp and all public access areas. Fresh fish have been stocked and are hungry!
